Description

Business Development Leader for a privately held government contracting company supplying equipment and services to the US Government as well as other government contractors in Southwest Asia and Africa. Company business units include engineering services, construction, mechanical contracting, demilitarization, office services, equipment leasing, and internet services provider. Position is responsible for generating new business opportunities primarily in the middle east (Afghanistan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Iraq) and assisting with the execution of existing projects. Duties will include travel to various middle east US Government facilities, meeting with potential clients, developing opportunities based on client needs, expanding existing projects, monitoring / supporting existing projects, and responding to client requests for quote. This position is based in Kuwait, but will require significant travel within Kuwait and within the middle / central east region.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must be responsible and professional and have the ability to operate in a self-directed manor. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with multiple cultures is required. The following skills / experience are preferred:

Significant world travel experience, specifically middle east travel
Prior US Military service
Basic to advanced skills in multiple languages
Education or experience in communications and network related equipment
